Use your existing table
Use a header row with a key column, a source language and target languages, such as key,en,fr,de. Comma, semicolon and tab delimiters are detected. Quoted commas, doubled quotes and multiline text are supported.
Columns named note, comment, context, description, max_length or character_limit are excluded from target selection by default. Choose columns manually when needed.
Key names are case-sensitive. Keys are not trimmed; fix unintended spaces in your source table. Record numbers count CSV records, including the header, rather than physical lines.
The free checker does not export reports, compare releases or import JSON. You can download it and use it offline.
Know what is checked
Placeholders and markup
Compares literal token signatures for {player}, {0}, ${name} and printf-style formats. Named and numbered tokens may move; unnumbered printf tokens must keep their order. Escaped double braces are ignored. Token formatting must remain identical. Recognised HTML-style and selected BBCode tokens are compared as a review warning.
Supported scope
ICU plural/select and nested brace formats are flagged for specialised review; their placeholder comparison is skipped. This is not an engine importer, a translation service, an HTML validator or a complete message-format parser. Intentional source copies and length changes may produce review warnings.
Privacy and files
Your table is processed in this tab and stays in memory. No analytics, cookies or browser storage are used by this app. Clear files or close the tab to discard it. Exported reports contain source and target text. Keep confidential reports private. The hosted page is served normally by its hosting provider; the downloaded checker runs without network requests.
